About us
Sadawa Game Reserve is located in the tranquil Tankwa Karoo 70 km outside Ceres, offering a peaceful escape
into one of South Africa’s most rugged and beautiful semi-desert landscapes. Here, a quiet Karoo experience is
provided where guests can enjoy wide open spaces, rich birdlife, unique plant species, and exceptional night skies filled with stars. Game viewing, photography, and slow-paced nature exploration are all encouraged in this untouched environment, far removed from city life.
Access to the reserve is possible by car, although a higher-clearance vehicle is recommended for veld driving.
Road conditions may vary depending on municipal maintenance, and guests are advised to confirm conditions
before travel. With its remote setting, varied accommodation, and immersive natural environment,
Sadawa Game Reserve offers an authentic and restorative Karoo experience.

LIES IN THE KAROO
The Tankwa Karoo area is rich in history with various Bushmen settlement remains still visible and the “Vergete Groot Pad" that traveled through the middle of the farm many years ago. By day it is a vast landscape filled with indigenous flora and boundless blue skies. At night the skies become a stargazer’s dream with vast expanses of glittering stars you will never see in the city.

IN THE KAROO
Our accommodation and communal buildings can also be used to host your next party, wedding, conference or team-building session. We can house up to 30 guests and offer catering services for group bookings as well. We have an on-site restaurant and dining hall as well as a lodge and outdoor event spaces.
